Privacy

Last updated 1 November 2026

In short: you can walk the street, pick a city and watch Gaju without signing in. When you sign in, Virasat keeps your name, email and profile photo, plus your stamps, scores and points, so they follow you to any device. We never see your Google password, we show no ads, and we sell nothing. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

Who runs Virasat

Virasat is a small learning website about the heritage of Indian cities, made by Jatin Mangal and a student team. For anything about your data, write to jatinmangal001@gmail.com.

What we keep when you sign in

What we keep while you learn

We use this only to run the site for you: your passport, your stamps, and your class.

Cookies and your browser

Who else handles it

A few services help run the site. They handle data only to do that job for us:

We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. If you are part of the editing team, the facts you wrote or checked stay on the site after you leave, without your name.

Deleting your data, or seeing what we have

Children

Many of our learners are school students. If you are under 18, please ask a parent, guardian or teacher before you sign in. Joining a class with a code needs only a nickname. A parent or teacher can ask us to delete a child's account by writing to the address above.

Changes

If we change what we keep, we will update this page and the date at the top.
